About this item

  • Mesh sponges are made for glass and chrome, not paint. Aero Scrubber is a soft, open-weave pad that is safe on paint, PPF, ceramic coatings, vinyl wraps and decals.
  • Super soft, yet firm enough to break bugs loose. Works best paired with Wash Wax ALL, which softens bugs so they wipe away with light pressure.
  • Reusable and long lasting, so one pad replaces a stack of disposables. Rinse it clean after each wash and store it in a bag or container so it stays free of grit.
  • Use it on cars, trucks, RVs, boats and aircraft. The same pad works anywhere bugs collect, from bumpers and hoods to leading edges.
  • Pair it with Wash Wax ALL. Beyond softening bugs, it leaves a slick, non-stick finish behind, so the next round of bugs releases easier and every wash gets quicker.

Customer questions & answers

Q: Will this scratch my paint?
A:

It is a soft, open-weave pad made for painted surfaces, PPF, ceramic coatings, vinyl wraps and decals. Rinse it after every wash and store it clean, since trapped grit is what scratches paint.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: Do I need Wash Wax ALL to use it?
A:

No, but it works better with it. Wash Wax ALL softens the bugs so they wipe away with light pressure instead of repeated scrubbing.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: Does it remove tar and sap?
A:

It is built for bugs. For tar and sap, use Safe Solv to break them down first, then finish with the pad.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: How long does one pad last?
A:

It is reusable and long lasting, so one pad replaces a stack of disposable sponges. Rinse, wring and store it clean between washes.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: Does it work on a bug-covered windshield?
A:

Yes. Glass takes more pressure than paint, so the pad works well on windshields, headlights and chrome as well as painted panels.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: What about bugs that have been baked on for weeks?
A:

Spray Wash Wax ALL on the area and let it soak for five to ten minutes. Spray again, break up the bugs with the pad, then wipe dry with a clean towel. The soak softens the residue so it lifts with light pressure.
