Q: Will it make my cloth seats stiff or crunchy after they dry?
A:

No. The damp towel carries the soap back out of the fibers instead of letting it dry inside them. Soap left in fabric is what causes stiffness. Spray, agitate, wipe with a damp towel, then finish with a dry towel.

Q: I cleaned one spot and now there is a ring around it. What happened?
A:

That is not a water stain. That is a clean spot against a dirty seat. The surrounding fabric is dirtier than you realized. Clean the entire seat, or at minimum the entire area you can see, and the ring disappears.

Q: Do I need a brush, or can I just spray and wipe?
A:

For light cleaning you can spray and wipe. If the surface is really dirty, agitate with a soft brush or scrubber for best results. Agitation is what breaks dirt loose from the fibers.

A:

Yes. Real leather, faux leather, fake leather, pleather and vinyl. It is not formulated for suede, Alcantara or rough-out leather, which are unfinished napped surfaces with no topcoat.

A:

It removes most stains. Sometimes an old stain is completely set and nothing is going to take it out. Age and what caused it both matter.

Q: Can I use it on my headliner?
A:

Yes. Spray the towel, not the headliner. Saturating a headliner can loosen the adhesive holding the fabric to the backing board. Wipe with the damp towel, then dry.

A:

Test an inconspicuous area first. Leather that has been repaired or re-dyed, common on used vehicles, can lose that dye to any soap, including this one. That is the dye letting go, not the leather.

Q: Should I vacuum before I start?
A:

Yes, and thoroughly. Vacuum first every time. If you skip it you are just liquefying dirt that could have been sucked out, and turning loose dirt into mud you then have to clean up.

Q: Do I need an extractor, or do I have to rinse it afterward?
A:

Neither is required. The damp towel is the rinse. On fabric and carpet you do have the option of using an extractor after you spray and scrub instead of the damp towel. Either one works. It is a choice, not both.

Q: Will it leave my dash and door panels shiny or streaky?
A:

No. Not shiny, not streaky. The damp towel followed by a dry towel removes any residue or soap that could attract dirt, leave streaks, or cause shine. Matte surfaces stay matte.

A:

Yes. It removes shine and residue left behind by other products and leaves a clean matte satin finish. No gloss, no greasy look. If you are looking for a product that adds shine, this is not it.

Q: How much do I need for a whole interior?
A:

Less than half a pint will do an entire car interior. A quart will do a whole RV, including furniture, carpet, cabinetry, countertops and sidewalls. The gallon is for detailers, fleets and refilling.

It is water-based and biodegradable, with no harsh solvents and no added fragrance. Like any cleaner, keep it out of the reach of children.

A:

Yes, and pulling them out of the vehicle makes it easier. Works on rubber, plastic and carpeted mats. Better access, and no overspray landing on your seats.

Q: Will it remove smoke smell or other odors?
A:

Cleaning removes the dirt and residue that hold odor, but this is not a deodorizer and it does not mask smells. Realistically there is nothing that removes smoke smell. Heavy smoke damage needs professional cleaning and deodorizing, and usually ends up covered with fragrance rather than truly removed.

Q: Is it safe on touchscreens and infotainment displays?
A:

Yes. Spray the towel and wipe it on rather than spraying the screen directly, then dry it off. Same approach works for gauge clusters and glossy trim.

It will clean the mess and the visible stain. For pet urine you also want an enzymatic deodorizer with live bacteria that digests the odor, because urine soaks deep into carpet and padding where a surface cleaner cannot reach. We do not make an enzymatic product.

Q: Do I need to dilute it or mix it with water?
A:

No. It is ready to use straight from the bottle. No diluting, no mixing, no measuring.

Q: Can I clean my seat belts with it?
A:

Yes, same method. Pull the belt all the way out so you can reach the full length, spray, scrub, wipe with a damp towel and dry it. Let it retract dry rather than wet.

Usually yes, and it does not matter how old the spill is. Coffee and soda residue rehydrates and lifts with agitation. Set-in dye stains are a different matter and may not come out.
