Refund policy

Aero Cosmetics / WashWax.com ("we," "us," or "our") wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your return, refund, and exchange rights. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Requests made after 30 days will not be accepted, except where required by applicable law.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused, unopened, and in the same condition you received it
- In its original packaging with all original tags, seals, inserts, and accessories
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions, including items that are damaged, missing parts, or show signs of use for reasons not due to our error.
How to Start a Return
Do not ship anything back without first contacting us. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted, and no refund will be issued.

Return Shipping
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges paid at checkout are non-refundable.
- If your purchase qualified for Free Shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost (the amount we paid to ship the order to you) will be deducted from your refund or store credit.
- For items valued over $75, we strongly recommend a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
- Risk of loss remains with you until the item is received and inspected at our facility.
No Restocking Fee
We do not charge a restocking fee on approved returns that meet the eligibility requirements above.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email of approval or rejection.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund — this is outside our control.
- If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you have not received it, please first check with your bank and card issuer, then contact us at sales@washwax.com.
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged:
- Gift cards and store credit
- Free promotional items (including any free bottle or gift-with-purchase items)
- Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and items classified as dangerous goods, where return shipping is restricted by carrier or law
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items damaged through misuse, improper application, or failure to follow product instructions
Damages, Defects, and Wrong Items
Inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, contact us at sales@washwax.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will evaluate the issue and, at our sole discretion, offer a replacement, refund, or store credit. In these cases, we will cover return shipping.
Claims made after 7 days for shipping damage may not be honored, as carrier claim windows are limited.
Exchanges
We only replace items that are defective or damaged. The fastest way to get a different item is to return the original (subject to this policy) and place a new order separately.
Gifts
- If the item was marked as a gift at checkout and shipped directly to you, you will receive store credit for the value of the returned item once it is received and inspected.
- If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser's payment method.
EU/UK 14-Day Cancellation Right
If your order is shipped to the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason, in accordance with applicable EU/UK consumer law. The item must be returned in the same condition described under "Eligibility" above. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
State and Country Consumer Rights
This policy does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under the laws of your state or country, including the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, or similar consumer protection laws. Where applicable law provides greater protection than this policy, that law controls.
No Warranty Beyond This Policy
Except as expressly stated here or as required by law, all products are sold "AS IS." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability for any return, refund, or product claim is limited to the purchase price of the item.
Chargebacks and Disputes
We ask that you contact us at sales@washwax.com to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback without first attempting resolution may result in suspension of future orders. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks with documentation of this policy and your order history.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. The version in effect on the date of your order is the version that applies to your order.
