About this item

  • CLEANS AND PROTECTS: Removes dust, dirt, residue and fingerprints from plexiglass, acrylic, polycarbonate and glass, then leaves a hydrophobic ceramic SiO2 layer so water beads and sheds.
  • SAFE ON SENSITIVE SURFACES: Ammonia free, alcohol free and water based, so it will not cloud, craze or yellow plexiglass, acrylic, polycarbonate, lexan, isinglass, clear vinyl, heated glass or tint.
  • WORKS ON WHAT YOU OWN: Aircraft windows and instruments, motorcycle windshields and helmet visors, boat and RV windows, car windows and glass inside and out, gauges and displays.
  • LIFTS RESIDUE AND GRIME: Spray on the surface, wipe with a damp microfiber towel, then wipe dry with a second towel. For baked on residue, spray, soak five minutes, spray again, then damp towel and dry towel.

Customer questions & answers

Q: Will this scratch or cloud my plexiglass?
A:

No. It is ammonia free, alcohol free and water based, so it will not cloud, craze or yellow acrylic, polycarbonate or lexan.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: Will it remove water spots?
A:

It removes fresh water spots. It will not remove water spot etching, where minerals have pitted the surface. Water spot etching needs a polish, like our Polish ALL.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: Does it work on baked on residue?
A:

Yes, using the directed method. Spray, let it soak five minutes, spray again, then wipe with a damp towel and dry with a second dry towel.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: Is it safe on heated glass and window tint?
A:

Yes. It is safe on heated glass, tinted windows, instrument faces and touch screens.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: What do I need besides the Plex Wax?
A:

Two clean microfiber towels, one damp and one dry. No bucket or hose needed for normal dirt.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: Is it a polish or a scratch remover?
A:

No. It is a cleaner that leaves a ceramic coating. Light scratches and oxidized plastic need a polish, like our Polish ALL.

· Aero Cosmetics
Q: Does it have a smell?
A:

It is fragrance free.
