How to Wet Wash

Two ways to wash without the waterless spray bottle: a traditional wet wash with Wet Wash Shampoo, or the spray-less method, where you dip towels in Wash Wax ALL and wipe. Also see How to Use the Wet Wash Mop.

Wet wash

1. Mix 2. Rinse 3. Apply / Rub 4. Rinse 5. Dry

1. Mix. Mix 1–3 oz. of Wet Wash Shampoo per gallon of water.
2. Rinse. Rinse off the vehicle.
3. Apply. Apply the shampoo and water mix with a mitt, sponge, towel, foam gun, or the Wet Wash Wax Mop.
4. Rinse. Rinse the shampoo and water mix off before it dries.
5. Dry. Dry the vehicle before it dries on its own to avoid water spots.

Good to know: wet wash

• Mix 1–3 ounces of shampoo per gallon of water in a bucket (3 capfuls = 1 oz.), then spray water into the bucket to create a rich, thick foam. Shampoo can also be applied with a foam gun.
• Wax as you dry: to add a protective coating after wet washing, spray Wash Wax ALL onto the surface as you dry the vehicle.
• Rinse with soft water when available, and dry the vehicle before it air-dries to help prevent water spots.

Spray-less waterless wash wax

1. Fill 2. Fold 3. Dip 4. Damp towel 5. Dry towel

1. Fill. Fill a container with Wash Wax ALL.
2. Fold. Fold some towels in half twice to form a square.
3. Dip. Dip some of the folded towels into the Wash Wax ALL and wring them out until they are lightly damp.
4. Damp towel. Wipe an area to be cleaned with the damp towel.
5. Dry towel. Dry the area with a dry towel before the Wash Wax ALL dries on its own.

Good to know: spray-less

• This method removes the need for a spray bottle, while still delivering high-quality waterless washing results, whether you're simply removing bugs from the leading edges or doing a full waterless wash.
• As the towel gets dirty, flip or unfold it to reveal a clean side, or replace the towel.
• Rinse mud, sand, and road salt from the surface before a wet, waterless, or spray-less wash.
• Do not dip a dirty towel back into the Wash Wax ALL container. Only dip fresh, clean towels into the container.
